Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what the product needs to work:

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Voice recordings you choose to make, and the transcripts and analysis derived from them.
• Practice activity: sessions, scores, streaks, and preferences such as your chosen appearance.
• If you join the leaderboard: the public nickname you choose. Your real name and email are never shown to other users.

2. How recordings are processed

When you record an answer, the audio is sent to third-party providers for transcription and AI feedback (currently speech-to-text and language-model services). They process it to produce your transcript and coaching and are not permitted to use it to advertise to you.

Recent recordings are kept so you can replay them; older audio is deleted automatically and only the transcript and analysis remain.

3. What we never do

• We never sell your personal data or recordings.
• We never show your identity to other users without an explicit opt-in (the leaderboard nickname).
• We never use your recordings for anything other than giving you feedback and running the product.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details; we store only your plan and subscription status.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage for preferences (like theme). No third-party advertising trackers.

6. Your rights

You are in control of your data:

• Export: download a copy of your data from Settings at any time.
• Delete: remove your account and all associated data from Settings, or by emailing team@articulatehq.pro. Deletion is permanent.
• Questions or complaints: team@articulatehq.pro.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and tell you in the product or by email.
